It’s perfect for settling kids down at night & setting them up for a good night’s sleep, knowing they are safe in the hands of The Lord.

The gentle illustrations are similar to those in Bless You and Good Night, with baby animals being cuddled by their parents, but this time the story is just about a polar bear cub.
It answers that question beloved of young children, “Where did I come from?” with the reassurance, “We wanted you very, very much, and we are so very glad because—God gave us you.” What answer could be better?
The story is touching & sweet, as you would expect. It bolsters the child’s self-esteem in the best possible way. In this story, he tells of a father’s love… so many of these types of books are centered on the mother that we found it refreshing to have one from the father’s point of view. The message that you will always be there for them & that they are loved comes through very clearly.
We’re not as thrilled with the illustrations in this book as with the other two, but the message is too good to pass up.
