We’ve been thinking about creativity lately & the many ways that it can glorify God. One of the areas that seems obvious is bringing more people to the bible, therefore we were delighted to learn about The Manga Bible.
Manga is wildly popular among youth & can be a very beautiful art form. This book illustrates the entire bible in the manga style & the artwork is beautiful.
The author, Siku, is of Nigerian descent, although he was born in London. He has lived in Nigeria for many years & was influenced by kung fu & samurai files of the 60s & 70s in his creative work.
If you are looking for a way to engage your children with the Bible, a way to make them really want to read The Word, this is a great entryway. It is compelling & you just might find them abandoning the video games & TV, sitting in the corner, enthralled in this Bible.
