We love books & we bet you do too. On November 13 the Kauai Historical Society is holding a very special book sale — not just any books, but vintage books on Hawaii & the Pacific, plus antique tea cups & their 2015 Plantation Days calendar. The sale begins at 3pm & ends at 6pm
The book sale will include rare books published in the late 1800s & early 1900s by explorers & missionaries about Hawaii & the Pacific basin.
Some of the authors represented include Isabella Bird, Manley Hopkins, Queen Liliuokalani & William Ellis.
There will also be 20th century books including biographies, politicization observations, scientific papers, social changes, economic development & more.
You can see a list of the books on their website at KauaiHistoricalSociety.org. You can also preview them at the Historical Society office on November 12 from 10am to 4pm.
So whether you are a collector, or just love old books, don’t miss this sale!
