We know, it’s not even Thanksgiving… but still, Christmas music is such a joy… & it makes great gifts too, so we couldn’t resist.
We found this album by Sarah McLachlan of Classic Christmas Carols & wanted to share it with you.
We love the old songs, those that bring back memories of the season, & this is a perfect album for that. It includes What Child is This, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlmen, Silent Night & O Little Town of Bethlehem along with some more contemporary offerings. Of course McLachlan’s voice is a great compliment to the songs. But what we liked most about this album is that even the traditional songs have been given a decidedly contemporary feel. They are really brought to life here.
