And adding to that joy is the ability to laugh at ourselves. Ned Flanders of the Simpson’s TV show has often been the source of gentle humor, while always being steadfast in his belief. He’s a great opportunity for Christians to look more deeply & to appreciate abiding faith, even if only in a cartoon character.
We hope that with Harry Shearer leaving the Simpson’s that Ned will still continue to delight us with his positive outlook & ability to turn any circumstance to the good.
