It’s still a long time until summer, but not too early to plan if you would like to take part in Surfing the Nations’ Internship Program.
The summer program begins May 12 and runs until August 5.
It’s a great way for youth to gain leadership experience in the real world, doing humanitarian work that matters. The participants spend three months in Hawaii, living in a community of like minded individuals, so the learning & fun goes on all day & often late into the evening.
The program is based on Oahu, but there is a 10-day inter-island outreach trip to one of the neighbor islands. We are not yet sure if they’ll be coming to visit Makanalani on Kauai this year, but we certainly hope so.
