If you follow this blog, you know that we love what is happening at Surfing the Nations.
On of the many great things they do is feed the hungry. It’s perhaps not widely known, but Hawaii has a significant homeless population as well as many working people who struggle every day to make ends meet for their families. This program of Surfing the Nations provides food and hope for over 2,500 people on Oahu each week.
The program started in 1998 and has grown steadily every year since. They work in conjunction with the Hawaii Food Bank and Aloha Harvest.
