Peace Festival

It’s that time of year where Kauai’s wide variety of festivals are popping up every weekend, and we are more than happy to share them with you.

Showing our diversity is the Bridge of Peace Festival which is all about making the peace gap between different cultures, races, and the generation gap.

Let us remind ourselves with what the Bible says about peace with these few passages.

John 16:33
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

2 Thessalonians 3:16
“Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.”

Matthew 5:9
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.”

Hebrews 12:14
“Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.”

If these beautiful words have inspired you maybe you’d be interested in attending the Bridge of Peace Festival. This community peace building event will take place at the Kauai Veterans Center on Saturday, September 16th, from 10:00 am till 4:00 pm. It’s free to attend and suitable for all ages. Promising Asian products, Kauai vendors, ancient court music, the Hiroshima peace art exhibition, Taiko drummers from Kauai, and holy Kojiki art with an ancient Japanese history talk show. We have to admit it sounds fascinating.
